The ability to save cards and other payment methods on file helps streamline the payment collection process exponentially. However, for many, setting up an auto-payment method often means forgetting to update all of your billing services when that card expires. 

To help business owners eliminate the frustration of a declined payment, Parent Billing has in-app notifications to let you know when a payment method is due to expire, to help you eliminate a slow in cash flow from expired payment methods.

Upon login, you will be notified of any expired or expiring payment methods at the top of your screen, as seen below.

You can also run a report on any expired or expiring payment methods as follows.

  1. Select “Reports” from the side bar
  2. Choose “Payment Methods Report”
  3. Under “Expiry” select Expired or Expiring Soon to view a list of all payment methods that are already expired or will be expiring soon. Be sure to follow up with your customers to ensure that these payment methods are up-to-date!
