The Daily Connect mobile app enables administrators to set up push notifications ensuring that you will be alerted whenever any specific update takes place. You will receive a notification when a teacher adds an event to the calendar, when the child/teacher ratio limit exceeds set parameters, when a parent sends a message to a teacher and when teachers save entries.

This feature is also available for parents and teachers.

Follow the instructions below to set up push notifications for administrators

  1. Log into the mobile app with your administrator account credentials. 

  1. Go to Menu Settings Notifications.

  1. To receive a notification when events are saved by others, select the corresponding check-box.

  1. Select Categories then choose the types of notifications you want to be informed about and select OK.

  1. You can also receive a notification when the child/teacher ratio exceeds the limit. This ratio is displayed on the Attendance page of the administrator web app. 

  1. In addition, you can choose to receive a notification when a parent sends a message to a teacher.

  2. Lastly, select whether you want the notification to be signaled by a sound or vibration.
