The portfolio is only visible to childcare staff, not to parents.
Childcare staff can share the portfolio with parents with a slideshow presentation (for instance during a parent-teacher conference) and as a pdf document.
1. The date range of the portfolio can be changed at the top left of the page. Only entries saved during this period will be shown.
2. The order of the display can be modified with the By Category / By Date choice at the top right of the page. When choosing 'By Category', the app will generate a section for each Domain of the Observations / Assessments in the portfolio (for instance: Emotional Development, Physical Development, Art, ...), then a section for Photos, Diary, Activities and Milestones.
When 'By Date' is selected, all entries are listed in chronological order, regardless of their category. The oldest entries are shown on top, the most recent entries are at the bottom.
The Portfolio can be viewed in a Slideshow mode. It can also be exported as a .pdf file (using the selected date range and categorization). The .pdf file can then easily be printed, archived, or emailed to parents. The pdf file can also be easily shared with parents by saving the document on the child timeline, so parents will have direct access to it via the application.
Sharing a .pdf file is done via the Share button at the top right of the page on the mobile app, or the corresponding links at the top right on the web app.
The child portfolio feature is available to Premium+ and Professional+ subscriptions.
