You can access the assessment report for a child by clicking on the child's name on the classroom Assessment/Observation Report.
The 'Assessment from Observation' column provides the same information as the classroom assessment report:
The color indicates how well the skill is mastered. Dark colors indicate that the skill is mastered, light colors indicate that the skill is not acquired yet. The legend at the bottom of the graph shows which color correspond to which assessment value. The number of assessment levels and their description can be customized to fit organizations' needs and learning standards.
The chart either use the assessment from the most recent corresponding observation, or the manual assessment set on the child individual assessment report. The number indicates the number of observations for the selected skill. No number is shown if no observation has been saved.
A tooltip is shown when moving the mouse over each cell, indicating the date of the last assessment and the label of the assessment (matching the color of the cell).
In addition, the 'Final Assessment' column allows teachers to give a final assessment for the selected skill. It can be done even if no observation has been saved for the skill, or if the assessment from the most recent skill doesn't reflect the current skill master level of the child. Teachers can modify the final assessment by clicking on the corresponding assessment value in this column.
Print / Share
Observations can be included in the child portfolio to be shared with parents. The portfolio will include all photos and public notes associated with the observations.
In addition, it is possible to generate a pdf file for each individual assessment report. This is done via the 'Download as .pdf' link at the top right of the page. The file can then be used for printing, or for sharing with parents or staff.
To only display, or include in the pdf the skills with an assessment, the Indicator Filter should be set to 'Only with Assessment'.
