Modified on Fri, 29 Apr 2022 at 01:25 AM

The Daily Connect iPad app enables administrators to set up push notifications ensuring that you will be alerted whenever any specific update takes place. You will receive a notification when a teacher adds an event to the calendar, when the child/teacher ratio limit exceeds set parameters, when a parent sends a message to a teacher and when teachers save entries.

This feature is also available for parents and teachers.

Follow the instructions below to set up push notifications for administrators

  1. Log into the iPad app with your administrator account credentials.

  1. Go to Menu Settings Notifications.

  1. To receive a notification when events are saved by others, enable this option.

  1. Enable the entry categories that you want to receive notifications for.

  1. You can also enable child/teacher ratio notification to receive a notification when the child/teacher ratio exceeds the set limit.

    • This ratio is displayed on the Attendance page of the administrator web app.

  1. In addition, you can choose to receive a notification when a parent sends a message to a teacher.

    7. Lastly, select the type of sound for notification alerts.
