How to make a sign-in/out entry on the mobile app

Modified on Wed, 30 Mar 2022 at 04:04 AM

When a child arrives at the care facility their parents can use a sign-in kiosk device, usually placed at the entrance to the facility,  to sign their child in and out.

Another option is for parents to sign their child in/out of your classroom. The sign-in page is then opened on your classroom device.

This feature lets you track when a child enters and leaves your classroom. This information is recorded in attendance reports and as a Sign-In/Out entry on the child’s timeline.

Follow the instructions below to sign a child in using the Daily Connect mobile app

  1. Select Sign In/Out.

  1. Indicate which child(ren) you are signing in. Select Select All to sign in all children in your classroom at the same time. Then select OK.

  1. Indicate the date and time you are signing the child in then select OK.

  1. Select the classroom the child is being signed into. The classroom you are currently signed into will be selected by default.

  1. Select Signature to allow the parent to sign the sign-in/out entry.

  1. Select the camera icon to include an image of the child.

  1. Select Save.

Follow the instructions below to sign a child out or record a classroom change using the Daily Connect mobile app

  1. To sign a child out, select Sign In/Out. Then select Save.

  1. To record a classroom change, tap the Sign In/Out entry, then select Change Room.

  1. Indicate whether the room change is temporary or permanent and select the classroom the child is moving to.

  1. Select Save.
