To encourage parents to pay in a timely manner, many childcare centers have late payment fees.
To set up late payment fees, log in to the Daily Connect web application and navigate to Parent Billing > Settings > Invoice & Payments on the web application.
Scroll down to enable the 'Late Payment Fees' option. You can specify the fee amount, and at which point the fee is added to the invoice (how many days after the payment is due).
For example, if the payment is due on July 1st, and the late payment fee is set to be added 2 days after the payment is due, the fee will automatically be added to the invoice on July 3rd if the invoice remains unpaid. When parents pay a invoice late, they will see an additional line item for a late payment fee.
