If your childcare business frequently charges parents additional fees for activities like meals or after-hour care, you'll love the charge library.
The charge library is a way to save charges that you might use frequently, so you can easily select those charges when creating an invoice or a billing program.
To create a reusable charge, click on the 'New' button on the Parent Billing > Charge Library page.
To quickly apply a charge to a child, click on the ... button under the Actions column and choose 'Add This Charge to Child'.
When creating a new invoice or a new billing program, you can also quickly select an item from the charge library by clicking on the Charge field of the invoice. All of your charges are saved and can be reused.
A charge saved in the charge library can have a description, internal note, quantity, and discount. All those information will be automatically pre-filled when creating an invoice from this charge. You still have the ability to modify the charge before sending the invoice.
Auto-Saving charges to the charge library
You can enable or disable auto-saving of charges to the charge library in the Parent Billing > Settings > Charge Library page.
When auto-save is enabled, all new charges entered when creating a billing program or an invoice will automatically be added to the charge library for future usage.
