What happens when a parent makes an extra payment?

Modified on Wed, 31 Jul at 12:54 PM

When a payment with an extra amount is made, it pays all overdue invoices. Here are the rules:
  • The extra payment cannot be greater than the childcare max amount authorized.
  • If the extra payment is bigger than the overdue invoice, the extra payment is set as a credit
  • If the extra payment is not enough to pay all overdue invoices, then partial payment will be made for the last invoice processed by the payment logic.

When a credit is added to a parent, nothing happens on invoices. The next invoices will be paid in priority with the credit, but adding credit directly does not trigger an invoice payment process.
