✨ AI-Powered Parent Communication Tools

We’re excited to launch this new feature, designed to help you and your staff communicate more clearly with families.

When asked, the AI Assistant analyzes what your staff writes to parents and offers several improved versions. Each suggestion comes in a different tone, from friendly to professional, so you can choose the one that’s the best match. And this new feature also checks your spelling and grammar and suggests improvements.

Those aren’t the only improvements we’ve made to our Parent Communication features over the past few months. You can now also view the content of the emails sent by your business. Go to Childcare settings > Send Email Text > View Email History


If you’re using delayed entries, you can now send individual entries in real-time. Just tap the entry in the mobile app or use the new ‘Send Now’ button on the web app.











? Upgraded Staff Management Tools (Now Including Integrated Payroll!)

Daily Connect now supports payroll, powered by Check — our latest step toward offering a truly all-in-one platform. You can use Daily Connect to track staff hours, approve timesheets with a single click, and run payroll directly through Daily Connect.

In addition to these payroll tools, Daily Connect also now offers a more customizable staff onboarding experience. With our new features, you can: 



? Added Flexibility in Parent Billing Tools

Updates to our Parent Billing tools make it easier than ever to bill families for attendance-based billing. You can now charge families in 15-minute increments, giving you more control over how you bill for partial attendance, whether it’s for early drop-offs, late pickups, or short stays. Plus, you can also remove a late fee applied to an invoice, even if a transaction has been recorded.


? Attendance & Sign-In Enhancements

We’ve made a couple of changes that give childcare centers more flexibility without sacrificing security. 


Now you can share the PIN code via SMS to parents and other people set up as authorized pick-up people in Daily Connect (available only for US-based customers). You can choose whether to send those codes only to parents or to every authorized pickup person. 


Parents can add authorized pick-up people, emergency contacts, and other family members from the app, provided you’ve enabled this feature. 


??‍? Easier Enrollment & Smarter Child Info Management

With the new school year just around the corner for many of our users, we’re making it easier to enroll new families in your business. Now, you can:


  • View the status of enrollment form submissions from your Store.

  • Save time with our new feature that lets you process bulk payments directly from the Store Page. Watch this quick video to see how it works.

  • Enable/disable specific days of the week for your center’s operating schedule in the Childcare Settings > Information page on the web application to make sure new families understand your schedule. 

















You can also allow parents to enroll their child directly from their Daily Connect app. Just make sure to check the box to Enable the Store Menu in the Store Customization tab. 

? Reporting Upgrades

We’ve added two new reports to the Daily Connect platform: 


  • Roster Report: New option to show only authorized pickups

  • Health Report: View and download medical conditions and care instructions. To access, just head to the Children Page.
